After her husband

died, Washington state

resident Ann Hanover

moved to upstate New

York to be near her son

and his family. Ann kept

only a few favorite pieces

during the downsizing,

including the bowfront

dresser that now serves as

an elegant nightstand.

“This is the first home

about her, just her,” says
